So what should we do? We need to find a way to be able to run some code and apply the appropriate background-color (and by extension, the theme) before the entire page has loaded. This means that until all this has been done, our user still sees only what the HTML has described: a transparent background. If there's any preference for dark mode that has been stored (usually using local storage), it's also loaded by the JS.

If you take a look at a website which has support for dark mode like, you'll notice something if you try to refresh the page once you've enabled dark mode. So what's the big deal? What really is the perfect dark mode? Storing (and retrieving) user preference.Here you can add or delete search engines AND customize the keyword used for them. To manage search engines, open Settings, then Privacy and services, then Address bar, then Manage search engines.

Keyword search is available for all search engines you install or which are automatically detected for you as you browse. You may also see search suggestions from that engine as you type. If you continue typing and press enter, you will navigate directly to search results for that search engine. You can also type the entire keyword and press space to enter keyword search mode. When you begin to type the “keyword” for a search engine into the address bar, you will be reminded that you can press tab to search using that engine. Keyword search for the address bar is now enabled.
